  1. What are the PPL(A) Course requirements?

     

    o   At least 16 years old.

    o   Aero-medical certificate at least Class 2. (If your further goal is to work in airlines, then we recommend obtaining Class 1 from the beginning). 

    o   Very good English.

    o   Good knowledge of mathematics and physics.

    o   Fulfill an application form for the course and get acquainted with the internal rules and procedures, we recommend visiting our Flight School for that in advance.

    o   You have to bring an identity document and sign a study agreement to be enrolled in the course.

  2. Course description

    The theory training course is composed of 135 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction, classroom work, and also such facilities as interactive videos, slide presentations, and other media. In addition, you will have to spend twice as much time for independent work at home - reading textbooks, an in-depth study of topics and homework. The duration of the PPL (A) course is 12 months, of which 11 months is the theoretical part of the course. Flight practice happens in parallel. Classes are held once a week in the evenings, from 18:00 to 21:00.

     

    The course covers the following subjects:

    o    Principles of Flight;

    o    Aircraft General Knowledge;

    o    Radiocommunications;

    o    Meteorology; 

    o    Human Performance;

    o    Navigation;

    o    Air Law;

    o    Operational procedures;

    o    Flight Planning.

     

    After passing the first two theory exams, you will be allowed to start a flight instruction program.

    The minimum flight instruction time for the PPL(A) course is 45 hours.

    - at least 25 hours of dual flight instruction,

    - at least 10 hours of supervised solo flight time, including at least 5 hours of solo cross-country flight time with at least one cross-country flight of at least 270 km (150 NM), during which full stop landings at two aerodromes different from the aerodrome of departure shall be made. 

  3. How much does the PPL(A) course cost?

      

    PPL(A) Course price is 9 945.00 EUR

    The price includes all training materials necessary for the study of theory and flight training, as well as 45 hours of training flights.

    Additional expenses:

    o   Avio Medical Check - 176 EUR

    o   CAA Exam cost - 256,14 EUR

    o   English language exam - 140 EUR

    o   Flight Skill Check (State Exam) - 380 EUR

    o   License issuing - 85 EUR
