For applicants holding EASA licences
First MPA course (low exp): an applicant for the first type rating course for a multi-pilot aeroplane shall comply with the following
requirements:

hold PPL(A) or CPL(A) issued in accordance with Part-FCL,
-
hold Class 1 or 2 medical certificate issued in accordance with Part-MED,
-
have at least 70 hours of flight experience as PIC on aeroplanes;
-
hold or have held a multi-engine IR(A);
-
have passed the ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge examinations in accordance with Part-FCL;
-
have completed the training course specified in FCL.745.A;
-
hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of an MCC course in aeroplanes (additional means of compliance are given in FCL.720.A(d)(4))
Additional MPA course (high exp): an applicant for additional type rating course for a multi-pilot aeroplane shall comply with the following
requirements:

hold PPL(A), CPL(A) or ATPL(A) issued in accordance with Part-FCL,
-
hold Class 1 or 2 medical certificate issued in accordance with Part-MED,
-
hold or have held a multi-engine IR(A).
For applicants holding ICAO licences Equivalent requirements of those mentioned above apply. Specific entry requirements shall be satisfactory for Trainee’s licencing authority in order to obtain CRJ type rating.
