Course requirements

The applicant shall meet the following requirements to be eligible for enrollment:
 
  • hold at least PPL(A) issued in accordance with PART-FCL,
  • have at least 70 hours flight time as pilot-in-command in airplanes,
  • hold valid PART-MED class 1 or 2 medical certificate.

To apply for MEP(Land) CR course the applicant shall fill in the respective sections in MEP(Land) CR Student Application form and provide all the information and document copies as indicated.
Course description

Course description

The MEP (Land) CR training course consists of two parts:
  • theoretical knowledge instruction,
  • flight instruction on aircraft.


Theoretical knowledge instructions consist of long briefings with emphasis on:
  • Aeroplane structure and equipment, normal operation of systems and malfunctions,
  • Limitations,
  • Performance, flight planning and monitoring,
  • Load and balance and servicing,
  • Emergency procedures.
 

Flight instructions on an aircraft consist of:
  • training on normal operations of multi-engine aeroplane,
  • training on engine failure procedures and asymmetric flight techniques.

 
The MEP(Land) CR course includes:
  • 12 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction,
  • at least 6 hours of visual flight instructions on aeroplane: 

1. at least 2.5 hrs dual training on normal operations of multi-engine aeroplane,
2. at least 3.5 hrs dual training on engine failure procedures and asymmetric flight techniques.
