Course requirements

The applicant shall meet the following requirements to be eligible for enrollment:
- hold PPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1,
- have completed 150 hours flight time,
- hold NR(A) or receive night training comprising of additional 5 hours of instruction during the
CPL(A) modular course.
- hold Class 1 medical certificate in accordance with MED.A.030 (f).
- possess sufficient level of English language knowledge (at least level 4 English proficiency).

Course description

The CPL(A) modular course comprise:
- dual visual flight instruction,
- dual instrument flight instruction.
 
Theoretical knowledge instruction for CPL(A) is conducted in frame of the ATP modular course. Students of CPL(A) modular flying training course are required to submit the copy of the ATPL(A) theoretical examination certificate issued by the Authority not later that at the completion of the course.

To apply for CPL(A) modular course applicant shall fill in the CPL(A) Student Application form and provide all the information and document copies as indicated.
Applicants holding a valid IR(A) are fully credited towards the dual instrument instruction time.
Applicants holding Basic Instrument Flight Module (BIFM) completion certificate are credited with up to 10 hrs towards the required instrument instruction time.
 
The minimum flying time for the CPL(A) course is 25 hours, including:
- at least 15 hours dual time of visual flight training, including at least 5 hours of dual flight
instruction on complex aeroplane (at least 4 seats, VP propeller and retractable landing gear),
- at least 10 hours dual time of  instrument flight training which is identical to Basic Instrument Flight Module (BIFM).
Additionally, 5 hours of night training if necessary.
 
The flight instruction shall not exceed validity of the pass of theoretical examinations.

flight instruction for the CPL(A).
